.Sembra spuntata fuori una restrizione alla vendita dei model kit Star Wars Bandai fuori dal Giappone, in quanto la stessa Bandai ne possiede i diritti solo li.
Cercando online si legge che Hobby Search ha mandato a qualcuno una mail:CITAZIONE"We have been contacted by Bandai that they do not want their
Star Wars kits sold outside Japan, so we are no longer taking
new orders for these items outside Japan and have removed them
from our English website."
E infatti facendo una ricerca nel sito (quello in inglese) non ci sono più, mentre cosa diversa è Hlj dove sono ancora presenti ed è possibile metterli nel carrello.
Pare sia tutta una questione di diritti Disney/Bandai, vedremo... al momento io ho sia lo Slave I che Boba Fett (release settembre) in preorder e stanno ancora li buoni buoni.
Se qualcuno sa qualcosa di più preciso faccia sapere, ma per il momento nulla di ufficiale
PS: se fosse vero, e come ha anticipato già qualcuno, è probabile che gli importatori non ufficiali faranno grandi affari... oltre che far lievitare il prezzo delle scatole, insomma chi ne ha già diverse a casa se le tenga strette

Io intanto ho provato a comprare l'Y Wing da HLJ. Ero indeciso da tempo, vediamo.
Effettivamente non credo bandai li distribuisca fuori dal Giappone, sono i negozi online a vederli.

Fortunatamente li ho man man ordinati quasi tutti, mi manca solo l'Y-Wing (che sto pensando di ordinare adesso Zibby come hai fatto tu) e lo Scout Trooper con la Speeder Bike (troppi 4000 yen per la dogana ).

Aggiungo solo che, a quanto pare (non si ha certezza della cosa), la questione sia legata ai diritti perché anche la revell vende la sua linea di kit star wars.

Di sicuro la licenza era quella sin dall'inizio, erano i negozi online a non rispettarla. Quindi Disney avrà richiesto a Bandai di forzare la mano sui negozi.
Che sia partita dalla Revell possibile ma non confermato.
L'importante è che Bandai continui a produrli poi un modo per procurarseli lo si trova. C'è sempre quella terra di nessuno della Cina. E anche sovrapprezzati costeranno sempre meno di quei blocchi di plastica prodotti da Revell.
Certo esiste la soluzione che Revell ribrandizzi i kit Bandai e li distribuisca, ma la vedo difficile già lo stanno facendo con i FineMold (che non aveva rinnovato la licenza presa da Bandai).. -

Nella lista incriminata mancano alcuni kit, R2-D2 Y-wing Tie Advance: infatti facendo una ricerca non ci sono più, probabilmente li hanno tolti perchè esauriti, mentre quelli rimasti andranno ad esaurimento.
Io per sicurezza ho ordinato lo Scout Trooper (
) e lo sconto applicato è stato del 5%, mentre con l'Y-Wing non sono stato abbastanza veloce ( ), è l'unico che mi manca a questo punto, pazienza.
Quello che mi preoccupa è che la data X è il 20 settembre, e Boba con lo Slave escono il 30 settembre

We are massively confronted with the accusation that Revell invited Disney as licensor of the Star Wars license to prohibit Bandai selling Star Wars licensed products outside of Japan. This claim is plain wrong because we haven’t and won’t at no time take influence to the business matters of other manufacturers!
The truth is rather that each licensee, whether Revell or Bandai, is only be entitled to sell its licensed products under its own license contract and the countries agreed upon. These license contracts are concluded solely between the licensor Disney and the various licensees. We as Revell GmbH therefore aren’t allowed to sell our Star Wars products in Japan. On the other hand it is not possible for Bandai to sell its Star Wars products in the US and Europe, if these regions are not part of the contract.
Apart from that, we are convinced that a license like Star Wars lives from the wide variety of products and thus inspires young and old. Therefore we see the model kits of the company Bandai not as competition but as a supplement on the market for Star Wars model kits.. -

In realtà per quanto a noi modellisti la cosa scocci, è tutto nelle regole e nessuno nel torto.
Il problema sono stati i rivenditori online e probabilmente alla Bandai è stato intimato di intervenire su di loro.
Una sola nota: sig.ra revell non è concorrenza. È schiacciante concorrenza.
